WHAT: Green Roof / Green Wall Seminar / AIA Presentation

Green Living Technologies International (GLTi) CEO and American Institute of Architects (AIA) provider George Irwin will offer an AIA credited seminar as part of the GLTi education series regarding green roofs & green walls.

The event will take place at Mario’s Via Bruzzi in Brighton, starting with an hour of networking, an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. Guests will watch an AIA presentation on green roofs and walls and their many benefits followed by a presentation of product comparisons of various green roof and wall systems.

GLTi will be showcasing visuals and providing a rare behind-the-scenes look at some of the largest green roof & wall projects in the world including the Green Living Wall at PNC Bank, the 3^rd largest Green Roof in Canada (68,000 sq. ft.) and the largest modular green wall in the world, the Intercontinental Hotel in Chile, which has a 17,000 square foot Green Living Wall.

Green Living Technologies International is the only company in the US to have both green roof and green wall patents and is LEED preferred over plastic competitors. After the presentations, attendees will be able to speak with GLTi CEO George Irwin in more detail about specific product applications such as waterproofing, maintenance and plant choices for both green roofs and walls.

In addition, a review of common mistakes and details will provide an even deeper understanding of how to make green technologies work and be successful.
